CINCINNATI — FC Cincinnati supporters packed Nippert Stadium in droves for the club’s 1-nil U.S. Open Cup win over big brother Columbus Crew SC in the “Hell Is Real Derby.”
After a frenetic few minutes of stoppage time, the home side held on to advance to face the Chicago Fire in the next round. The official attendance of 30,160 set a record for the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup.
