2 players chosen in 2017 MLS Waiver Draft

The MLS Waiver Draft isn’t typically an event in which fireworks happen. The 2015 MLS Waiver Draft only saw one player selected, while the 2016 version had zero names called.
Two players were chosen this year, with the Colorado Rapids and Montreal Impact opting to bolster their defensive depth. Here are the results from Wednesday’s 2017 MLS Waiver Draft:
- Colorado Rapids – D Kip Colvey (San Jose Earthquakes)
- Montreal Impact – GK Clement Diop (LA Galaxy)
