MLS debuts 1st part of 22 Under 22 list
MLS unveiled the first part of its inaugural 22 Under 22 list containing the most talented youngsters in the league Wednesday afternoon. Previously 24 Under 24, MLS opted to change things up this year by chopping two years off the age cutoff.
A 19-person panel containing the likes of Alexi Lalas, Matt Doyle, MLS technical staff and other media members votes on the list. To qualify for the list, players must not have turned 22 by Oct. 28, the final day of the regular season.
Here are players 11-22, with Nos. 1-10 set to be announced Thursday afternoon on ExtraTime Live at 2 p.m. ET:
