MLS unveils inaugural 22 Under 22 list top 10
On Thursday afternoon, MLS unveiled the second part — the top 10 — of its inaugural 22 Under 22 list containing the most talented youngsters in the league. Previously 24 Under 24, MLS opted to change things up this year by chopping two years off the age cutoff.
A 19-person panel containing the likes of Alexi Lalas, Matt Doyle, MLS technical staff and other media members votes on the list. To qualify for the list, players must not have turned 22 by Oct. 28, the final day of the regular season.
